Night Photo Shoots
Lerro Photography is a leader in aviation night photography, organizing and assisting with night photo experiences at airshows, museums, and private events since 2017. We specialize in lighting and photographing aircraft from World War I through modern fighter jets, capturing them both static and in motion under professional, cinematic lighting.
Using state-of-the-art LED lights with custom modifiers, we precisely illuminate each aircraft to highlight its details while keeping the scene natural and balanced. Our night photo sessions often feature multiple aircraft and live engine runs, offering photographers rare opportunities to capture the spinning propellers and the flames emanating from the exhaust. Even those that shoot video are able to capture the roar of the engines running at high RPMs when they rev up to produce flames in the exhaust.
Trusted by airshows, aviation museums, and private collectors nationwide, Lerro Photography delivers unforgettable night photography events that showcase the beauty and power of flight.
Aviation Reenactment Photo Shoots
Our aviation reenactment photography events are unlike anything else. With our group of professional reenactors, you have an opportunity to capture scenes that look straight out of a World War II film set.
Our small-group photo events recreate authentic moments featuring World War II Army Air Forces, U.S. Naval Aviation, RAF, Luftwaffe, Rosie the Riveter, 1930s aviation, and more.
Every detail matters. We collaborate with skilled reenactors, pilots, and historians to ensure period accuracy in every scene. From the clothing, hairstyles, and uniforms to the aircraft, vehicles, and props, no element is overlooked. This dedication to realism has led many to mistake our photos for the real thing.
Air-to-Air Photo Shoot Experience

Safety is always our top priority. With professional pilots, experienced photo crew, and detailed pre-flight briefings, you can focus on creating breathtaking airplane photos while we handle the logistics.

Classic Pin-Up Photo Shoots
During our vintage pin-up photography sessions, our models and reenactors wear authentic period clothing and accessories, meticulously researched to recreate the look of the 1940s and 1950s.
Many of our photo shoots draw inspiration from wartime photos, propaganda posters, aircraft nose art, and magazines and advertisements of the day.
The details that our models and reenactors try to recreate, from the outfits and hairstyles to even striking the exact poses found in the research materials, help our pin-up photography shoots capture the spirit of the WWII era beautifully reimagined for today.
