Scouting the White Pass & Yukon Railroad
In late May 2025, Pete spent two days scouting the White Pass & Yukon Railroad in preparation for an upcoming photo charter scheduled for September. On the first day, he rode on the back of a passenger train from Skagway to Carcross and back. The second day involved traveling on a high-railer truck and exploring some of our favorite photography locations from the previous day. We already knew the railroad was scenic, but it exceeded our expectations. There are numerous photo opportunities, featuring beautiful bridges, tunnels, open fields, and scenic spots along the river. The railroad has been extremely accommodating and is eager for our arrival.
