  • How to work with and pose a model effectively
  • Setting up scenes using dramatic, period-inspired lighting
  • Incorporating props to enhance the scene and storytelling
  • Post-processing techniques to complete the classic look

This workshop is perfect for photographers looking to expand their lighting skills while capturing the timeless elegance and drama of classic Hollywood.

World War II Reenactment Photo Shoots

World War II was the largest conflict in human history, and one of the most photographed. Our immersive photo workshops let you step back into that era, surrounded by authentic sets, vehicles, and dedicated reenactors who bring history to life.

Whether you are shooting aboard a Navy ship, beside a vintage aircraft, or alongside tanks and infantry, every detail is designed to make your images look as if they were taken in the 1940s. Our experienced reenactors don’t just pose, they share the uniforms, stories, and spirit of the soldiers and civilians they represent, offering photographers both stunning visuals and meaningful historical context.

1930s-1950s Civilian and Home Front Reenactment Photo Shoots

Step back in time with our authentic vintage photo experiences. Whether it’s the 1930s, 1940s, or 1950s, we bring history to life with professional reenactors and period-correct clothing, hairstyles, makeup, and props.

Our shoots capture the true essence of each decade, from 1930s scenes featuring Model A cars, Ford Tri-Motor airplanes, and vintage architecture, to 1950s diner settings complete with classic cars and costumed reenactors. We also recreate everyday life moments in beautifully restored vintage homes.

The Wild West Photo Workshops

Join Lerro Photography as we recreate and photograph the iconic scenes of the Wild West, an era immortalized in Hollywood and American folklore.

From dramatic gunfights outside dusty, bustling saloons to rugged cowboys and the spirit of frontier romance, these shoots brings the 19th-century West vividly to life for a private group of photographers.

Our talented, detail-oriented reenactors will portray both viewpoints of the frontier lifestyle:

Historically Accurate Scenes (1860s–1890s): Authentic, researched recreations of daily life, attire, and events from the real Old West.

Classic Hollywood Westerns: Romanticized, cinematic scenes inspired by the silver screen – bold, dramatic, and full of character.

What’s the Wild West without a shootout? Our reenactors will perform both historically accurate demonstrations and Hollywood-style gunfights. You will have the chance to capture both staged portraits and live-action moments, ensuring a rich variety of photographic opportunities.

We also set up individual portrait stations with professional lighting, as well as saloon, poker, and still life scenes during our photo shoots. Between scheduled reenactments, you will find endless opportunities for candid portraits and spontaneous moments.

Capture the golden light, the sweeping horizons, and the soulful presence of the Navajo people in one of the most iconic locations in the American West.

Rosie the Riveter Photo Shoots

During World War II, as millions of men joined the armed forces, American women stepped into the workforce in unprecedented numbers to fill critical industrial roles. By 1945, nearly one in four married women was employed outside the home. The “Rosie the Riveter” campaign became an enduring symbol of these women’s strength, skill, and determination.

Our Rosie the Riveter Photo Workshops celebrate this legacy by recreating the spirit of the 1940s wartime workforce. Participants and reenactors don authentic period factory attire, complete with vintage hairstyles and makeup, and pose in historically inspired industrial settings. From aircraft hangars to railroad yards to bustling factory floors, each shoot honors the women whose hard work helped power victory on the home front.

Vintage Pin-Up Photo Workshops

Step back in time with our vintage pin-up photography sessions, inspired by the glamour and charm of the 1940s and 1950s. Our talented models and reenactors dress in authentic period clothing and accessories, recreating the timeless look of classic pin-up art, retro fashion, and old Hollywood style.

Every detail, from hairstyles and makeup to poses and props, is researched to perfection, capturing the style of the era. Many of our photo shoots draw inspiration from original posters, aircraft nose art, and promotional photos that once graced magazines and advertisements of the time.

Whether you are a fan of vintage aesthetics, a collector of retro art, or simply love the nostalgic beauty of the past, our pin-up photography celebrates the artistry, elegance, and confidence of a bygone era.

Civil War Photo Workshops

Our immersive workshops focus on historically accurate combat scenes, camp life, and period portrait sessions, carefully staged to reflect the look and feel of the era. When available, we incorporate horses, period trains, and authentic artillery to elevate the realism and add depth to your photographic experience.
